Distance Sales Agreement
Plain-language terms designed to make shopping with Silverelle clear and transparent.
This Distance Sales Agreement applies to an order concluded remotely through silverelle.com between Silverelle as seller and the customer identified in the order as buyer/consumer.
Customer care: info@silverelle.com
Order, shipping and return support: order@silverelle.com
Website: silverelle.com
Seller identity, invoicing and any registration details applicable to a completed purchase are provided on the order confirmation and/or invoice issued for that order.
1. Parties and order-specific information
The customer’s name, billing/delivery information, selected products, quantities, prices, shipping charge, payment method and total amount are those displayed and accepted at checkout and recorded in the order confirmation. These order-specific details form part of this agreement.
2. Subject
The agreement covers the online sale and delivery of the products selected by the customer and the parties’ rights and obligations in connection with that sale.
3. Formation of the contract
The customer reviews the order summary and submits the order electronically. Silverelle records the order and provides confirmation. Where applicable law distinguishes an acknowledgement from final acceptance, the contract becomes binding when Silverelle accepts the order for fulfilment or dispatch.
4. Price and payment
The payable amount is the total displayed at checkout, including the delivery charge shown there. Import duties or destination taxes may be payable separately unless checkout states that they are included. Payment must be made using one of the methods offered during checkout.
5. Delivery
Silverelle dispatches accepted orders to supported destinations using the selected/available shipping method. Delivery estimates are indicative unless a specific guaranteed service is expressly stated. The customer is responsible for providing a complete and deliverable address.
6. Withdrawal
For eligible online purchases, Silverelle provides a 14-day withdrawal/return period from delivery, without requiring a reason, where such a right applies. A clear statement by email or the contact form is sufficient to notify us. Personalised or made-to-order goods may be excluded where applicable law permits. This exclusion does not affect rights relating to defective or incorrectly supplied goods.
7. Return of goods
After notifying withdrawal, eligible products should be returned without undue delay and in any event within the period required by applicable law. Customers may inspect an item as reasonably necessary to establish its nature and characteristics, but may be responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond that.
8. Return costs
Unless Silverelle agrees otherwise or mandatory law requires the seller to bear the cost, direct return shipping costs for a change-of-mind return are borne by the customer. Return costs for a confirmed defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied item are handled in accordance with applicable law and the Returns & Refunds Policy.
9. Refunds
Approved refunds are made using the original payment method where reasonably possible. Silverelle may wait until returned goods are received or evidence of return is provided where applicable law permits. Bank-processing times are outside Silverelle’s control.
10. Mandatory rights and disputes
This agreement does not restrict mandatory consumer protections that apply to the transaction. Customers should first contact Silverelle so that a concern can be resolved directly. Any rights to use a competent consumer authority, court or alternative dispute-resolution body remain unaffected.
